Second graders have been writing their own rhythms using eighth notes, quarter notes and quarter rests.  Last week, the rhythms went along with a Halloween song.  If you see a "ghost-like" rhythm paper come home, ask your second grader to read the rhythm for you!  Start saving for those band lessons!!
