The Knights of Columbus has invited students that are 10 years old or older (as of 1-1-2010) to participate in a free throw contest.

I sent home the sign up form and told the students that I would post more information here on my blog.

The contest takes place on Wednesday, January 20th at St. Agnes High School. Registration begins at 7:00 PM. Shooting starts at 7:30 PM and will last until 8:30 PM.

This is a free event. 10 and 11 year old girls will shoot from the 12 foot line with a girls ball. Older girls will use the official free throw line at 15 feet.

10 and 11 year old boys will shoot with the "girls" ball from 12 feet and the 12 year olds and up will shoot with a boys ball from 15 feet.

Winners from this local event will advance to the District Shoot on Thursday, February 4th at 7:00 PM. Also taking place at St. Agnes.
