Wow!  What an exciting time of the season.  There are all sorts of playoff games taking place throughout our winter teams.  Emotions run high at this time and it is a great time to discuss with the kids how sports are not the "end all".  Keeping a positive attitude about a season of work is difficult after a loss but everyone knows that there has to be someone going home disappointed.  On the flip side, victors should remain humble (to a certain degree) and respectful of their opponent.  

The swim team is doing a great job also.  Thanks to Coach Porter and his crew at the pool.  Keep up the great work!

In P.E. we are working through many fun activities and games to keep fit during the rest of winter.  The students just learned a new game that involves being "stealth" or "sneaky".  Hopefully this skill does not find it's way back to the classroom.  :)  Ask them about the game, "Pin-Tipper".
