All grades are learning so many new things, and have been very busy, some even creative. I'd like to highlight what's happened in 7th grade, after my own-made-not-so-artistic-old-fashioned song for the verb tener (to have, to be ... old) I proposed the 7th graders to come up with a rhyme, poem, song to help them remember the conjugation of the verb ir (to go, going to). The performances were so much fun, and the best of it, they helped to remember the forms of the verb. Students declined to make very modern sounding hip-hop songs-VERY CATCHY! There also was a Mariachi performance ¡Ay Caramba!
