To celebrate Semana de las Escuelas Católicas, we are learning the 10 commandments in Spanish in 7th and 8th grade classes. We are praying Our Father and the Hail Mary, and we're writing and praying for our intentions. We are reading and analyzing the petitions that will be read in Spanish during the Catholic Schools' Week mass, which will help us practice the response Te rogamos, óyenos. Several students from the upper grades will be accompanying younger students by reciting the Padrenuestro, too.

*Info after the mass: students did an excellent job responding in Spanish after I read the petitions. The group of students lead the Our Father in Spanish beautifully. Today's mass was prepared by the specialist teachers, and we got many compliments afterwards on how beautiful it turned, especially adding these parts to mass in Spanish. ¡Qué bien! and MUCHAS GRACIAS.
