This has been such a busy week!

Seventh grade had a fun day today taking pictures with the new green screen and a giant check. They will be using these photos to paste themselves into a picture to go along with their "How I Won A Million Dollars" story. We will eventually be learning all about spreadsheets as we spend down the million dollars on lots of practical things... and a few fun things too.

The sixth grade has started learning all about power-point presentations. They have begun making their own powerpoint highlighting everything about themselves using their new Google Docs account. I can't wait to see all the cool presentations in a few weeks.

Fifth grade has begun a WebQuest about cyber-bullying. They will be learning all of the ways they can protect themselves and their friends from being cyber-bullied. They will eventually be writing and producing Public Service Announcements to teach everyone what they have learned.

Fourth grade is continuing to plan their own comic strips. They are working in groups of 2-3, writing and creating a story board that will become a comic strip to this year's school theme "With my own two hands." Next week we start taking the pictures!

Third grade has begun October a little early this year. We are working on a Halloween Acrostic Poem to learn all the cool things you can do with Word Processing! We are close to being done with the typing, now onto the formatting....

First and Second grade just finished up pictures to showcase the "With my own two hands" theme. Those pictures will be posted shortly
