I have had the opportunity to work within Catholic Schools for 15 years. I have been blessed to be part of the Highland Catholic School Community for the past eight years. During this time, I have been a guest teacher in grades K-8, taught Kindergarten for three years and am in my second year of teaching first grade.The every day joys that brighten my day begin and end with the eager and delightful children that I am privileged to teach.

Childhood Ambition: I knew I always wanted to work with children. Originally I wanted to be a Pediatrician, but quickly found out I did not have the stomach for it. I then started down the path to becoming a teacher and realized it was my true calling!
Favorite Place: Any place warm and sunny!
Passion: My passion is hockey. I love to watch hockey at any level, from Mighty Mites on up to the WILD.
Phobia: Chickens and feathers! Chickens attacked me when I was little and am still scared to death of them!
Favorite Book: This is tough! I have so many favorites. I love the Anne of Green Gables series and Eloise most of all!
Favorite Music: I can listen to anything. I love Johnny Cash, the Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake and anything in between!
