Hi! My name is Judy Litecky and I am a teacher in second grade here at Highland Catholic. I also have experience in first and third grades. I really enjoy teaching second grade because the children are so enthusiastic and eager to learn at this age. We teach to the whole child to help them become responsible, successful people in school and in life. The children are exposed to strong academics in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Religion and are provided with many other learning opportunities. When I am not at school, my interests are yoga, reading and spending time with my grown children and grandchildren.

I like to integrate the curriculum with the students’ interests and their prior knowledge.  Each student has their unique style of learning and I like to help them and give them the confidence to learn.
