Hi All,

Our school year is winding down now, but the sixth graders are still busy learning.

Reading:  6th graders are finishing up their last literature circles of the year.  Students chose their own novels and groups and are enjoying reading a wide variety of titles and authors.

Religion:  6th graders are just finishing a chapter on 'hope' and how having hope is an important part of our faith  that gets us through the challenging times in our lives.  

Science:  We are continuing our experiments with variables.  Our next will be with 'planes'.

English and social studies:  The sixth graders will be writing historical fiction, set during the Middle Ages.  In English, they'll learn how to create a good plot, and in social studies, they'll do the necessary research to create an authentic Medieval setting.
