Dear Parents and Guardians,

Next week's conferences provide another opportunity for a face-to-face conversation with your child's teacher(s).  This is a great time of year to celebrate gains and make some goals for the remainder of the school year.  Students in Grades 5-8 are encouraged to attend conferences with parents/guardians.

Extra Eyeballs Needed

We are attempting to control the skateboarders that are "hanging out" in our parking lots.  They are causing damage and have been intimidating our guests.  I admit that I wish there was a skate park or some area that was suited for skateboarding.  Our school property is not that spot.  The police have asked us to call the non-emergency number, 291-1111, and report this activity.  If you notice this behavior in the evening or on weekends, please help by placing a call.

Faces

Lenten Project

Every family is invited to help us in support of our sister parish in Chimbote, Peru.  We have a large water jug located in the lobby, which we are attempting to fill during this Lenten season.  During our grade level presentations, students suggested skipping a family event, such as a movie, or eating a simple supper and donating that money to this great cause.  Let's see what we can do together!
