Extra Curricular activites are offered through the Resource Room throughout the school year.  Check here regularly for the most current information on what is available.

Winter 2010 Classes:

**Artastic and Cartooning are back for a second session this winter.  Several HiC students have their work featured on the Young Rembrandt's website.  Check it out!

ARTASTIC, an eight week drawing course for first through third grade students. Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays from 2:50-4 p.m. from January 19-March 9, 2010.. This program is offered through Young Rembrandts. Cost is $90. Each week, student artists can expect to draw a new exciting lesson, learn true artist concepts in art, drawing and color technique, and have fun. Download Form

CARTOONING, an eight week course dedicated to cartooning techniques. This class is offered to fourth through sixth grade students. Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays from 2:50-4 p.m. from January 19-March 9, 2010. This program is offered through Young Rembrandts. Cost is $90. Download Form

DESTINATION IMAGINATION

Destination Imagination teams have been formed.  These teams are busy working on their solutions to one of the problem-solving challenges.  There is also a Hi-C alumni team in the planning stages.  What fun!

MATH

The Junior High Math League is half way through their competitive season.  More information may be found on the math page regarding this group.

Fifth grade Math Masters will begin in January.  We will have four teams competing!
