Virtus Training

The Virtus program is a training that is required by the archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for all teachers, coaches, and parents who work with children at the school or in the parish.

The training takes three hours, and is composed of large and small group discussions and two video sessions. Upon completion, you will be registered with the archdiocese and will be certified.

Linda Mischke is the local coordinator for Lumen Chrisi and Highland Catholic School. She conducts the training in the fall of each year. There are other training sessions throughout the archdiocese at various locations and times. More information about the Virtus program and where training sessions will take place can be found at their website which is www.virtus.org.

Background Check

All coaches and volunteers working directly with children will also be subject to a background check.
